Both shows are judged by licensed USAWE officials.
USAWE Recorded Judge “r”
Marie owns and operates Capall Stables in Wichita, Kansas, where she teaches and trains traditional dressage, western dressage, and working equitation. She is a USEF “R” western dressage judge, a USDF L-Graduate with Distinction, and a USDF Bronze, Silver, and Gold medalist. She earned those medals on Lazulite, the Trakehner she trained herself.
She started in 4-H, won an AQHA colt in an essay contest at nine years old, and showed him for 27 years before taking up eventing in her thirties. She serves on USAWE's Licensed Officials and Rules committees, and is known for pulling young riders into the sport.
USAWE Registered Judge “R”
Kim owns and manages Blue Gate Farm in Deming, Washington, and has taught dressage professionally in Washington State for more than 30 years, bringing hundreds of horses and riders up through the levels. She is a USDF Bronze medalist and an L Graduate with distinction, and has trained USDF Regional champions and USDF National breed champions.
She grew up riding on the family ranch, working cattle for neighboring outfits and packing horses and mules into the high Sierra. She competed in western rail classes, trail, reining, working cow, hunter/jumper, and eventing before settling on dressage. A client's Lusitanos introduced her to working equitation in 2016 and she has been hooked since. She is also the editor of Northwest Horse Source magazine, where she has written hundreds of articles on horse care and training.

Cattle fees may change with cattle costs.
Payment: an invoice will be sent and must be paid in full by September 1, 2026. Because the facility and judge expenses are paid up front, no refunds can be issued for this event, regardless of weather or medical considerations.

Competitors must be members of USAWE in good standing. Non-members can participate but will not be eligible for ribbons, prizes, or points.
